The 2024 LPBH Marathon Results!
We are at it again, going against the grain and bringing you a more wholesome LESS Popular Brooklyn Half Marathon! For any runner that has been told they can not run the Brooklyn Half Marathon by those less friendly and way too over crowded running organizations, then run with the Race Guys and crew for a breath taking waterfront property of a race!

The 2024 Less Popular Half Marathon Race Details:
Bib Pickup:
The race will be starting promptly at 8:00am. Bib pickup will be held on race morning right at the starting line on the American Veterans Memorial Pier from 6:15am-7:30am. Please do not wait until the last minute so that we can be sure we start the race on time. Come early, get your race day materials and have plenty of time for your pre-race warm ups and routines.
Baggage Check will be available at the Start/Finish Line.
Transportation and Parking:
The race start/finish as well as registration will all be held at the American Veterans Memorial Pier located at 6901 Shore Road. There will be on-street parking on Shore Road and its adjoining streets. You can also take the R Train to the Bay Ridge Ave station located at Bay Ridge Ave and 4th Ave and walk west -- toward 3rd Ave -- until you reach the water. It’s about a 0.6 mile walk to the pier. Please leave yourself plenty of time to arrive!
Route:
The Less Popular Brooklyn Half will be a spectator friendly multi-loop course along one of NYC’s finest waterfronts. You will begin with quick 1 mile out and back before completing three 4-mile loops of the Shore Road Promenade in Bay Ridge. You will have fluid stations roughly every mile so there is plenty of opportunity to stay hydrated. The finish line will be back at the American Veterans Memorial Pier where you can collect your FINISHER MEDALS and bask in your accomplishments – It is impossible to get lost. The course support will remain open for 3 hours.
After you all kick butt in the half marathon and collect your FINISHER MEDALS we will provide chips, cookies and water at the finish line. Don't rush home just yet... maybe you placed in your age group, wait for your award!
