Refunds and Transfers:
At Trimara Sports, we feel that we are pretty fair and sound. We provide fun and refreshing events, make your racing safety a priority, give away some pretty snazzy swag, and also understand that sometimes stuff happens that prohibits you from participating at a level where you can "Race Like You Mean It"! The staff at Trimara Sports are just like you... the working class everyday age group endurance athlete and we personally have been participants of races that we couldn't do, or just not at our potential. So, whether it be the in-laws are in town for the weekend, that old high school knee injury had reared its ugly head in the midst of your training, or you just won a Hawaiian trip for two.... stuff happens. So here is our Transfer/Cancellation/Refund policy:
Weather: Running and racing are like the postal service. "Neither snow nor rain nor heat..." Trimara Sports races are held rain or shine unless a state of emergency is issued.
Full Refund: (Before 30 days prior to the race)
Trimara Sports can and will issue a full refund before 30 days prior to the race. At this moment, we have an opportunity to refill your spot, reshuffle some paper work and refund the price of the event. (At this time, the small processing fee is unfortunately not refundable).
Half Refund: (Before 14 days prior to the race)
OK, the wheels are in motion, we placed orders for your swag, paid employees, and as they say in the movies "money has exchanged hands". BUT... again.. We are fair and sound, so we can share the cost equally of the loss of the entry fee and can grant you a 50% race entry fee refund.
No Refund: (13 days leading up to the race)
With less than two weeks left prior to the race, we are sorry, no refund will be allowed. but please read below for the option for race registration transfers.
Transfers: (Two Options!!! Both Options are available before 7 days prior to the race)
Option A: "I can not attend the race I am registered for.. please transfer my registration to your next race in the calendar year" Yes. with even only 7 days left prior to race start, we will grant you your wish and transfer your registration into our next event or another event within the same year. Please make this process easier for us by knowing which event you would like to be entered into.
Option B: "Can I transfer my race registration to someone else?" Yes! This is a bit tougher, but we will put on the white gloves and work some magic. There will be steps and instructions for your replacement racer. Meaning we will need personal information:
Name, Address, Email Address, Date of Birth, Cell Phone Number, Gender, and Tee Shirt Size.
Your replacement runner will need to read and sign the race day waiver either prior to or in person on race day.
Please note that we cannot issue a transfer the last 7 days leading up to the race, at this point, your registration fee will be wisely used to aid in the payment of the staff, the volunteers, and local charities if applicable.
